Tent City Hotel

The remains of the Tent City Hotel, built by Lorne Jack. Much of structure is in disrepair, but the stone fireplace and chimney remain standing. It also served as a dance hall before it was torn down in 1953., IHS481b

Black-and-white photograph of a large, deteriorating two-storey wooden building with multiple sections and rooflines. Several windows and doors are missing or open, and debris is piled outside the central entrance. Sections of the roof appear partially collapsed, and framing is exposed on the upper floor. Leafless trees are visible in the background. Identified as the Tent City Hotel, built by Lorne Jack. The hotel also served as a dance hall before being torn down in 1953., IHS481a
